Founded in 2012 in Portugal by Jorge Bastos, the craftsman. Our company is dedicated to crafting high-quality, genuine leather straps for guitar and bass players. We take pride in the superior craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into each and every strap we make. Over the years, we have served more than a thousand satisfied customers, and we're proud to say that we haven't had a single unhappy customer yet. FROM THE BEGINNING
From a young age, music was a huge part of my life, thanks to my father, Jorge Bastos. He instilled in me a deep love and admiration for the art form, and before long, I was itching to pick up a guitar and start playing. My dream was always to perform gigs with my friends, and my father was just as eager to watch me play, from setting up the equipment to packing it all away after the show.
My father even built me a Gibson Les Paul replica of Slash from Guns N' Roses - my favorite guitarist at the time - which remains my go-to instrument to this day. But we quickly realized that we were missing a crucial component: a beautiful, high-quality strap that could hold the guitar securely and confidently.
That's when my father had the brilliant idea to start creating custom leather straps. With his years of experience in the shoe industry, he knew he could craft something truly unique and special. And from that moment on, he's been thriving in this new venture - designing and creating straps that are not only durable and well-crafted but also customizable, allowing musicians to express their own unique style.
